Found photographs, transparencies, text and images are systematically arranged to form ‘stories’ which explore themes inspired by overheard conversations, scenes momentarily glimpsed, skewed memories/thoughts and differing emotional states.

The constructed image is then set on mdf and partially erased by gradual sanding, ensuring small elements are retained. Layers of coloured wax further obscure the whole semblance, giving rise to surreal landscapes composed of uncanny, disassociated elements. However, on closer inspection possible dialogues may emerge.
