I am a sculptor living and working in London , UK .  Based at the Blackhorse Road Studios, E17, (part of the Barbican Arts Group), I am engaged in  my own personal work, and community based and educational art projects. The recurring theme of my sculptural work is the exploration of the conflict between the natural world and the man-made.  I examine the results of a throw-away society and the human disruptions of fragile ecosystems. My practice follows a long tradition of artists, whose portrayal of the natural world stretches back to the earliest humans. The interpretation of this subject in contemporary art continues to reflect the concerns and concepts of the moment, and the work being produced today under the umbrella term “Eco Art” is of particular interest to me.
