I use photography, painting and film to explore the concepts around specific spaces, perception, identification, the human condition and the absurd. My subject choices are seemingly ordinarily: a person in their sitting room cleaning, a corner, a corridor, a lock – things that are not alien. My desire is to create something that aesthetically draws the observer in, allowing them to interact and respond to their own unique interpretation; tapping into the personal, yet collective consciousness.
