Studied at the Central school of Art in 1967, progresses to the BA course at the Slade School of fine art. Left the Slade shortly after enrolling, was hired to work on the “Yellow Submarine” The animated film featuring the “Fab Four”, the Beatles.
Travelled over Europe and the Far East this continued into the 70’s. Decided to enrol at the London College of printing, Graduated with Dip AD in Typographic design.
Relaunched anew and revitalised into Painting and Sculpture. Participated in group exhibitions and one-person shows throughout the 80’s and 90’s. Took courses to continue process of self development and raising of skills, as a consequence I now hold the City & Guilds 7407 level 2 certificate and the PCGE qualification as a teacher.
Worked as a lecturer in Graphic design and drawing at Amersham &Wycombe College in Buckinghamshire and Crisis Skylight, a charitable organisation based in Tower Hamlets. Currently working as a lecturer in media at Hackney Community College.
The image is taken from a series of sculpture in paper mache that I began while resident in Nimes, France during the period of 1997 and 2001.
